James Ash serves as the President for the Bermuda Operations of Â鶹´«Ã½. He provides strategic leadership and run the day-to-day operations of Â鶹´«Ã½'s Bermuda entities, ensuring alignment with both regulatory expectations and the broader goals of the consolidated enterprise.
James is also part of the Structured Finance Department at Â鶹´«Ã½ , where he oversees the capital management of the various Â鶹´«Ã½ operating company subsidiaries and the management of the affiliated reinsurance programs. Prior to that, James contributed to the Valuation Department at Â鶹´«Ã½, where he held the role of Appointed Actuary for Â鶹´«Ã½ Americas Reinsurance Company, Ltd., Â鶹´«Ã½ (Barbados), Ltd., Â鶹´«Ã½ Atlantic Reinsurance Company, Ltd., Manor Reinsurance, Ltd., and Reinsurance Company of Missouri, Incorporated.
James has been at Â鶹´«Ã½ since 1996, with valuation experience across all main product lines. James received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science from Maryville University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
